The novia Group is an internationally active industrial company in the field of assembly and purchasing services with locations in Europe and Asia. We are looking for an experienced controlling professional with an analytical eye and creative drive to join our team in Göppingen (or alternatively at one of our other locations) as soon as possible.

What you can expect

• Responsibility for group-wide reporting: consolidation, analysis, and commentary on actual, forecast, and planned data to ensure financial transparency.
• Preparation of monthly and annual financial statements and participation in the implementation of short- and long-term corporate goals.
• Management and preparation of budget, forecast, and medium-term planning as well as strategic initiatives.
• Performing variance analyses and ad hoc evaluations to derive decision-relevant insights for management and external partners.
• Serving as the central point of contact for site managers and senior management for business management issues and commercial advice.
• Using big data and AI tools to identify value creation potential and optimize cost control.

What you bring to the table

• Degree in business administration or a comparable degree program with a focus on controlling, finance, or accounting
• At least 3 years of professional experience in controlling—ideally in an industrial environment with in-depth knowledge of financial consolidation and financial accounting
• Strong analytical skills, strategic thinking, and the ability to structure complex issues independently
• High level of initiative, structured and solution-oriented approach to work, as well as a strong hands-on mentality and willingness to embrace change
• Confident manner and strong communication skills when dealing with interdisciplinary stakeholders at all hierarchical levels, as well as business fluent German and very good English skills
• Very good knowledge of MS Office (especially Excel), experience with ERP systems and BI tools (e.g., Power BI, COGNOS desired)
